Tronhjem Rømer

Trine Tronhjem and Liv Marie Rømer

Tronhjem Rømer is a duo of two textile designers and craftswomen, Trine Tronhjem (b. 1991) and Liv Marie Rømer (b. 1991).

Our creative practice is grounded in the craft of textile printing. Through the interplay between color, materials, and light, we aim to create atmospheric and sensory experiences.

We believe that textiles, pattern and ornament have a distinct but often overlooked spatial potential, which we strive to manifest through our design practice. We therefore seek to highlight the value of sensuous materials, using textiles and pattern compositions to balance spaces and create a coherent whole.

We enter all new projects with great curiosity and offer site specific projects, commissioned works, product design and color- and material consultations.
